Registration

Registration begins as soon as classes are posted. Registrations are processed on a first-come first-served basis. Because some classes fill very quickly and all class sizes are limited, it is best to complete and mail in your Registration Form with payment as soon as possible. No registration will be processed without payment. A limited number of tuition grants are available each term. For consideration, please include documentation (with your registration) that your child qualifies for a government assistance program (e.g. Medicaid, WIC, free/reduced price lunch at school).

For the best possible experience, please have your child pick his/her own classes, including second- and third-choices. While we make every attempt to place your child in his/her first choice, we may need to use the second- or third-choice because of full or cancelled classes.

Note: Please be sure to include second- and third-choices to save numerous phone calls and subsequent disappointment.

All classes have the same tuition amount ($75.00), payable with the registration submission. Registrations post-marked after the registration deadline must include a late fee in order to be processed. The late fee is $25.00.

Please refer to Important Dates for the registration deadline.

If there are any questions regarding your registration, you will be contacted by our Registrar. If you do not hear from the Registrar, you may assume that the registration is being processed successfully, and your child is being placed in one of his/her class choices. You will receive a Confirmation Letter approximately 10 days before the first day of class.

Registration Form

To register your child, print the Registration Form, complete all applicable fields, sign and mail it in with your payment. The Form provides all pertinent information, including the registration deadline, session dates, tuition and late fee amounts and the mailing address. After completing the Registration Form, you must sign that you have read, understand and agree to our Program policies. These policies are in the Policies, Disclaimers and Waivers section listed below.

In order to begin processing your child’s registration, we must receive your Registration Form, along with tuition payment, late fee payment (if applicable) and completed Professional Recommendation Form (if applicable). Missing information and payment will delay processing and cause many phone calls.

Please do not mail in lab fees with your Registration Form and payment. All lab fees are payable to the instructor on the first day of class.

Professional Recommendation Form

The Super Saturday Program is a unique environment in that it serves only intellectually gifted children, following the State of Ohio guidelines for giftedness. We therefore require evidence of giftedness, as verified by a school professional, psychologist, testing professional or similar recognized authority.

The Professional Recommendation Form is needed for students enrolling for the first time, or those who haven’t participated in The Super Saturday Program within the last two years. This form must be printed, given to a professional for completion and mailed along with your Registration Form and payment.

Note: The Registration and Professional Recommendation Forms require Adobe Acrobat Reader, version 5 or later.

Financial Assistance

The PAGE Board of Trustees is committed to serving all intellectually gifted children, regardless of their financial status. Therefore, a limited number of grants are awarded each session. These grants cover tuition and lab fees, so there is no financial obligation to the recipient family.

In order to file for a grant, include with your Registration Form proof of need, such as documentation that your child qualifies for a government assistance program (e.g. Medicaid, WIC, free/reduced price lunch at school). This proof is required annually for each registering grant child.

Our Registrar will contact you by phone if there are no more grants available for the session. If you do not receive a call, you may assume that your child has received a grant. You will receive a Confirmation Letter approximately 10 days before the first day of class.

Registration Cancellation/Withdrawal

If it becomes necessary to cancel or withdraw your registration, please notify our Registrar in writing to receive a refund of your tuition. See Contact Us for our mailing address. A full or partial refund is granted only if the request is submitted in writing prior to the first day of class. See Important Dates for the applicable dates. No refunds are given for withdrawals on or after the first day of class.

Policies, Disclaimers and Waivers

We reserve the right to make teacher and class changes/cancellations as needed prior to the first Saturday of each session. We will contact parents or guardians upon cancellation to determine whether there is an acceptable substitute class or if a refund should be given. Refunds will be issued within four to six weeks of the request. In the event of a teacher emergency on an individual class day, we will make efforts to arrange for a substitute teacher, but we reserve the right to cancel that day without providing a refund if a substitute cannot be found.

In case of severe weather or an unforeseen emergency, we will attempt to schedule make-up classes, but we reserve the right to cancel class without a make-up class or refund. Emergency closures will be announced by 8:00 AM on our Message Center (513-786-6826), this website and TV Channels 9 and 12.

Neither teachers nor PAGE will be responsible for any accidents or injuries sustained by any child while attending classes of The Super Saturday Program.

All students enrolled in The Super Saturday Program and their parents automatically grant their permission for the use of any record of student activity (i.e., photos, movies, audiotape and/or videotape) happening on campus for promotional purposes.

Teachers reserve the right to dismiss students from their classes who demonstrate behavior or attendance problems. In these cases, no refunds will be given. Prior to dismissal, the teacher will work with the student and parents to resolve any problems. If the problem persists, our President will contact the child’s parents to try to resolve the situation and decide whether to allow the child to remain in class. If no resolution occurs, the student will be dismissed.

Personal information of PAGE and The Super Saturday Program students, parents, teachers, members and volunteers is strictly confidential and is used only as necessary within the organization to conduct business. Personal information will not be shared for any other reason.
