The Gifted Education Research and Resource Institute (GER2I) at Purdue University
West Lafayette, Indiana

GER2I was founded in 1977.  In 1979, they began offering their first youth program, summer camps for gifted and talented.  Later they began calling it “Super Summer Camp.”  Later they added their Super Saturday Program.

The Center for Gifted Studies at Western Kentucky University
Bowling Green, Kentucky

WKU’s first gifted youth program was a summer camp in 1982.  They began offering Super Saturdays classes in 1992.  Their seminars and presentations may be worth the drive, so we frequently include them in our calendar.
