While an ability score of two standard deviations or more above the mean (IQ 130+) is considered gifted, an ability score of three standard deviations or more above the mean (IQ 145+) is considered profoundly gifted. The distinction is important for acknowledging the different and rarely met needs of these individuals.
We are asking caregivers of profoundly gifted children for resources that have helped them. Email marketing@supersaturday.org if you can contribute. Thank you in advance.
